We have been finding lices on and on…

In the beginning it was only the Peacocks´children.

Now we have even found in Flamingoes… And some in cockatoos and Penguins.

We have even staff members with lices and I am itching  myself ( OH my god!! )

 

I have talked to Fredrik´s and Oscar´s dad ( Magnus Bager -He is a doctor from Danderyd Hospital)

to ask for advice.

He told us that the lices´ eggs need to be cummed away because the treatment has no effect on the eggs.

If they are not taken off the hair, the lices will come back.

We still have a lot of children with lice eggs.

 

The infestation is a fact so we need to take some drastic measures:

 

I would like to ask all parents to do the Lice treatment in your kids(maybe your family?) during this week-end!

Please take your kid´s clothes from the pre-school(all of them) and wash them over the week-end.

Don´t forget to wash the bed clothing.

 

If we find children with lice eggs on monday, they will be sent home for 24 hours.

The children can not come back to the pre-school until they are completely lice free!
