Friday – Amazing race

Hello parents,

This week we will be holding the Amazing Race.  We held out as long as we could for snow hoping we could still have the Vasaloppet but we had no such luck this time.  We will have the Amazing race on Friday the 20th of February.  We will start the race at 9:00 and it will end in time for the children to be back at school for lunch.  We ask that all of the children are at school and dressed to be outside by 8:40.

The race consists of 12 activities and each class can choose how many of them they would like to complete.  Groups will be doing a bit of walking and traveling on the bus on this day if they have chosen certain activities so please remember to dress you child appropriately for being outside in cold weather for some time. There is no need to send water bottles or any kind of packed food with your child.  We will provide all of that. If you have any other questions or concerns please feel free to email or call us.

Best regards,

It is getting darker! When you pick up your child, make sure you tell the signing out person (yellow vest) that you picked up child as it is very difficult for this person to see everything that is happening in the yard.

Also it is important to tell the signing in person in the morning (yellow vest) if someone else is picking up your child.
